How does search work?

Use the shortcut Shift + S to open the search bar or click the extension icon to the right of the address bar and select the Let Me Search icon.

Start typing to see results. Use filters to narrow down relevant results.

What is an Index?

A highlight or a bookmark is collectively refered to as an index. The term Save or an Index may be used interchangeably.

How to save?

Use the shortcut Shift + I or click the extension icon to the right of the address bar and select the Let Me Search icon.

Save anything on the internet by highlighting or by adding your own notes.

Note: Saves and Indexes are the same thing and used interchangeably to refer to the same thing.

How to select a folder?

Folders are a great way to organize your saves. Click Select folder and select the folder to add your index to. Note: An index can belong to multiple folders at once.

How to add a new folder?

You can add a new folder while saving / indexing a webpage or from your dashboard.

Click Select folder and search for the folder name. If you get no results, use the Add button to create a new folder.

Are there any storage limits?

No. There's no limit to how many indexes you can save, and your saves are kept indefinitely (unless you delete them).

How to share my saves?

You can securely share your saves with anyone and control what they can view and search for.

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Click the Share button found on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the folders you want to allow access to.
  4. Choose if you'd like to restrict access after certain time
  5. Click Generate link
  6. Copy and share the link

Note: Be careful who you share this with. Anyone with the link can search and get access to your collection.

Note: Access to a link cannot be revoked

Note: A link cannot be unpublished, deleted, or removed

How do I install Let Me Search on Safari?

Let Me Search is not available on Safari at the moment (Sorry).

My saves don't appear in search results or in my dashboard.

Saves should instantly be available.

  • Please refresh and try again. This may happen if the page is stale and / or the connection timed out.
  • Please make sure the Extension and the Dashboard have the same credentials.

If the problem persists, please write to us at helpmesearch@okaysend.com.

Why do I have to sign in every time?

Noo! This shouldn't happen. You may be asked to login once for the website and again for the extension but no more.

If the problem persists, please write to us at helpmesearch@okaysend.com.

Note: Make sure you're not in Incognito mode
